About Justice Online

A Custom Episode of Shaiya

Justice Online (Shaiya Justice) is an independent Shaiya private server project built around a Custom Episode rather than a stock episode package. We are preserving the faction-war identity of Shaiya while developing our own client systems, interfaces, progression decisions and custom content.

Why “Custom Episode”?

Episode numbers are useful when a server is intentionally reproducing a known retail-era build. Justice Online is not trying to do that. Our client and game data have been changed beyond a stock episode profile, so calling the project EP4, EP5 or EP6 would give players the wrong expectation. “Custom Episode” is the accurate description: Shaiya at the core, with Justice Online making its own product decisions around it.

What is being built in-house

The project is not presented as custom because of a renamed launcher or a few edited drops. Development work extends across the client, tools, presentation and gameplay layer.

Custom client systems

New interfaces and client-side systems are being integrated directly into the Shaiya client, including modernized navigation and quality-of-life features.

Custom content and world work

Maps, encounters, progression and world content can be tuned or extended for the Justice Online episode instead of being locked to a stock package.

Multilingual client

English, Turkish, Spanish and Filipino support is part of the client and website plan, not only a translated landing page.

Modern delivery

The launcher, updater and website are maintained as part of the project so patches, language files and client changes can be delivered consistently.

Current stage: Closed Alpha

Justice Online is not in public launch. Closed Alpha exists to expose balance problems, progression issues, economy risks, boss problems, crashes and exploits before the wider community depends on those systems. Access is deliberately limited and progress may be wiped whenever a clean test is required.

Closed Alpha

Development principles

  • Describe the server accurately instead of forcing it into a stock episode label.
  • Use real player testing for PvP, economy and progression decisions.
  • Treat client stability, delivery and interface quality as part of the game experience.
  • Do not give Closed Alpha participants launch-day power advantages.
  • Build for an international community with EN, TR, ES and PH support.
