Closed Alpha: What We Are Testing Before Public Release

Justice Online

Justice Online is currently in Closed Alpha because the systems that define the server need real-player pressure before we open the doors publicly.

A test environment is useful only when it is allowed to expose problems. Alpha characters and progress may therefore be wiped, values can change between builds and a feature that does not survive testing can be redesigned instead of being protected just because it already exists.

Our main testing areas

  • Progression and economy: levelling pace, upgrade flow, farming value, currency pressure and places where progression becomes either trivial or unnecessarily slow.
  • PvP and class balance: practical matchups, burst and sustain, group roles, utility and situations where a class or build creates unhealthy play.
  • Bosses and group content: encounter clarity, party requirements, reward value and whether repeated content remains worth doing.
  • Stability and exploits: crashes, desync, broken interactions, duplication risks and anything that can damage the economy or competitive integrity.
  • Custom client systems: whether new interfaces actually make the game easier to use without creating new confusion or edge cases.

Good feedback is specific. “This is bad” is much less useful than explaining what happened, where it happened, what you expected, how to reproduce it and why the result feels wrong. Screenshots or short video clips are especially valuable for client and UI problems.

Closed Alpha participation is not a shortcut to launch-day power. Test progress can be reset and Alpha participation does not grant gameplay advantages when the public server opens.

If you have real Shaiya experience and want to help test rather than simply rush progression, visit the Closed Alpha page or join the Justice Online Discord.
