From installing the client to your first dungeon: what to do in your first hours.
Besides lapis, two systems raise the power of an item in Shaiya: enhancement, which adds a + level with Lapisia, and recreation, which rerolls the orange bonus stats. Both cost materials and both involve luck. This guide explains how they work on Justice Online and how to spend your materials sensibly.
Enhancement in short
Enhancement is done at the Blacksmith. A Lapisia raises the item by one step: on a weapon it adds attack power, on armor it adds absorption, the defense that reduces each hit you take. The ceiling on Justice Online is +8. It is fixed on purpose, so equipment does not inflate into the very high enhancement levels of later Shaiya episodes.
What you need
- A Lapisia for the item type: Power Lapisia of Syeeric for weapons, Defense Lapisia of Syeeric for armor.
- A Justice Stone as the Blacksmith’s catalyst: Justice Stone of Weapon or Justice Stone of Armor. One is consumed on each attempt.
- Both the Lapisia of Syeeric and the Justice Stones drop from monsters. The item tooltip shows which stone a piece of equipment needs.
Chances and risk
The first steps almost always succeed. From the middle of the scale the chance falls quickly, and the last steps succeed only rarely. The current table for weapons and armor is on the Server information page, under Enchant rates.
Read the tooltip of the Lapisia you use. A Lapisia of Syeeric does not destroy the item when the attempt fails; other kinds of Lapisia state that the item is destroyed on failure.
When to stop
- Do not enhance leveling gear beyond the easy steps; you will replace it soon.
- On equipment you keep, take every piece through the easy steps first. Several pieces at a middle level are worth more than one piece at a high level.
- Treat the last steps as a long-term goal. Decide beforehand how many materials you are willing to spend.
Recreation: the orange stats
Many items carry orange bonus stats on top of their base values. A Recreation Rune rerolls them at random; some quest items cannot be recreated. Because the result is random, a good roll can take many runes.
Recreation Runes drop from monsters and can come out of the Justice Lucky Box.
Auto Recreation
Justice Online adds Auto Recreation to the client. You choose minimum targets for the stats you care about (STR, REC, DEX, INT, WIS, LUC, HP, MP, SP) and the client keeps using normal Recreation Runes on the selected item until every target is reached, then stops. It saves the clicking; it does not change the odds.
Order of work
For a piece you plan to keep: first get the item with the slots you want, then recreate until the orange stats fit your role, then link your lapis, then enhance. That order keeps your most expensive materials off an item you may still replace.

What is the maximum enhancement on Justice Online?
+8 for weapons and armor.
What does enhancement add?
Attack power on weapons and absorption on armor.
Does a failed enhancement destroy the item?
Not with a Lapisia of Syeeric. Other kinds of Lapisia say in their tooltip that the item is destroyed on failure.
What are Justice Stones for?
They are the catalyst the Blacksmith consumes for each enhancement attempt: one type for weapons, one for armor.
What does a Recreation Rune do?
It rerolls the orange bonus stats of an item at random.
